Contribute to the Future of People Powered Research!

If you have ever wondered how you can make a contribution to medical research, now is your chance!

We are helping the European wide “My Health My Data” project find suitable people to test their innovative smartphone app which aims to enable individuals to participate more easily in health research. In return for testing the app and giving feedback via a short online survey there is a £35 Amazon gift card for the first 100 people that complete the survey by Tuesday 17th December!

The process involves you linking with your GP online PatientAccess account so you can choose to shareanonymiseddata that may be relevant for research. You don’t necessarily need to be on any medication as this exercise is just about testing the usability of the app. You can only connect your health record if your practice uses EMIS as clinical system.

To participate you will also need an android smartphone (sorry no iPhones!) and have access to your GPs online services or are willing to register for it. This involves showing ID and proof of address to your GP reception and filling out a registration form.
